We support and encourage the community to support the Community Emergency Response Team under the training of Molalla Fire District 73. It is a group of volunteers that take 24 hrs of initial training with firefighters and paramedics to be able to assist them in the case of a major emergency. They continue their training bi monthly and develop new skills. Basic emergency supplies are provided with an emergency pack and they are encouraged to add items they want available when responding to a call out. In the catastrophic event, they will be available to their family, friends, and neighbors to assist with rescue, first aid, building search and resource organization until fire or police can arrive.
Anyone from 10 to 100 may become a member and be a support for your community.
